Huge Invoices and no current rules before purchasing is described @annguyen1925

Hi, Hopefully someone helps me.

I’m asking if someone on the billing team can review these invoices because I genuinely cannot afford to pay them, and my account is now at risk of termination.

My outstanding invoices are:

  • [REDACTED] – $151.77
  • [REDACTED] – $32.69

I previously paid another invoice up to 177 or something around it and only received a partial refund of 38 bucks is what they told me but I’ve never seen that money and its been way past 10 days.

My biggest concern is that I never realized using Vercel could generate charges of this size on top of the Pro subscription or Pro hobby account not sure what its called. From my perspective, there wasn’t a clear warning during signup or purchase that usage based services like Observability Events, Fluid Active CPU, Edge Requests, and other features could result in invoices this large. If I had understood that, I would have disabled those features or changed my usage immediately.

I’m requesting that someone please review my account and consider one or more of the following:

  • Waiving these outstanding invoices as a one time exception.
  • Removing or crediting the unexpected usage charges if possible.
  • Preventing my account from being terminated while this billing issue is under review.

I also want to understand exactly what caused these charges so I can ensure it doesn’t happen again.

I would really appreciate any help from the billing team. Thank you for taking the time to review my situation.

The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.

We’ll need to discuss private account information, so it’s best to open a support case at vercel.com/help for this. Just use the chat there to describe what’s wrong. The bot will handle everything it can automatically or help you open a case if extra support is needed.

If you already have an open case, I would be happy to check on the status of it for you.
