It was unclear why, but the existing Edge servers were set to kix1 and iad1.
Unfortunately, there seemed to be an issue specifically between a certain Korean ISP and iad1, which caused connection problems.
After updating the vercel.json file to use kix1 and icn1 instead, the speed has significantly improved.
