Hi everyone! ![]()
I’m an indie developer, and I built OnePageParty to solve a personal frustration: The “Party Planning Bloat.”
Every time I needed to calculate food quantities for a party or print a simple “Happy Birthday” banner, I was forced to:
-
Sign up for complex design tools (like Canva).
-
Wade through recipe blogs filled with ads just to find a simple ratio.
-
Hand over my email address for a “free” PDF.
So, I built the opposite. A privacy-first, zero-friction toolkit where users can solve their problem in seconds.
The Stack:
-
Framework: Next.js (App Router) - hosted on Vercel, obviously! ▲
-
Styling: Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui (for that clean, accessible look).
-
Backend: Supabase (handling the dynamic data).
-
Features:
-
Banner Maker: A canvas-based generator that creates print-ready PDFs in the browser.
-
Party Calculators: Interactive logic to estimate Pizza/Tacos/Cake for crowds.
-
The “Indie” Philosophy:
My goal was “Engineering as Marketing.” Instead of writing 1,000 blog posts, I used Next.js dynamic routing to generate hundreds of specific tool pages programmatically. The site is designed to be lightweight, fast, and respectful of the user’s time.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the UX or the performance!

Cheers!
