Pro upgrade stuck in trialing after clicking “End Trial and Start Pro Plan”

Hi Vercel team,

I created a Pro team for a commercial project and added a payment method. The Billing page showed the “End Trial and Start Pro Plan” action. I clicked it once, but the team did not transition to paid Pro.

Current verified state:

The correct team shows plan: pro but billing.status: trialing.
The project has already been moved to that team, so this is not a wrong-team selection issue.
AI Gateway Custom Reporting (GET /v1/report) returns: 403 — Spend report access requires a paid plan. Please upgrade your plan to use this feature.
A payment method is attached.
I have already opened a Billing support ticket today and can provide the case ID privately.

Impact: this blocks a non-production cost-reconciliation validation required before enabling the feature. There is no production incident, and I am avoiding repeated upgrade attempts to prevent duplicate charges.

Could someone please check the billing entitlement/synchronization for the team, end the trial, and activate paid Pro immediately? Please also confirm that the failed button action did not create a duplicate invoice or charge.

Additional evidence: I completed the supported upgrade flow from Settings → Drains. The checkout reached the final confirmation, but the server rejected the upgrade with:

“Only pro trial subscriptions can be modified.”

At the same time, the team API reports plan=pro and status=trialing, while Billing already shows a paid USD 20 Pro invoice dated August 7.

This confirms an inconsistent subscription/entitlement state on Vercel’s side. Please reconcile the billing subscription and the team entitlement. I will not retry the payment because USD 20 has already been charged.

It looks like your team is on the Pro plan now. AI Gateway credits are billed separately, so you should be able to purchase credits to upgrade from the free tier from the AI Gateway tab in your team dashboard. You can also configure an auto-reload amount and spend limits.
