Project viewer is using seats when it should be free

I want to use Vercel Authentication in addition to Passport to secure an app I am publishing. I want to add members of my company as viewers for that project only. I dont want to add everyone as teamspace viewers because I dont want them to list and see data on any other projects.

I am being told by the chat agent and shared slack channel rep that the only way to accomplish this is to grant them contributor role, and then project viewer, but that it will use a license for each person, even though it is less access than a viewer role, which is free.

Please change this

I double checked with the team and they confirmed that the chat agent was right. The contibutor role lets you set access control at the project level. The viewer role gives read-only access across the whole team.
