Hello.
I purchased the Plus plan for $30 yesterday, and I’m reaching out regarding what happened after I cancelled the subscription.
My intention when I cancelled was simply to prevent the subscription from automatically renewing next month. I did not intend to immediately terminate the paid period I had just purchased.
I was expecting the cancellation to work similarly to other subscription services, where cancelling disables future renewal while you continue to have access to the benefits you already paid for until the end of the current billing period.
However, after cancelling, I noticed that my included $30 credits were removed immediately. Since I had only purchased the plan yesterday and had cancelled specifically to avoid an automatic renewal on my bank card, I was surprised that the credits disappeared immediately.
I also noticed that Vercel’s current Terms state that a downgrade generally takes effect at the start of the next renewal period. Based on this, I would appreciate it if you could please review whether my cancellation was processed as an immediate termination rather than a cancellation/downgrade that should remain active until the end of my current paid period.
I understand that your billing and AI credit terms may contain additional provisions regarding credits, but I would really appreciate it if you could make an exception in this situation, especially since the subscription was purchased only yesterday.
Could you please either:
- Restore the $30 of Plus credits to my account for the remainder of the paid period, or
- If restoring the credits isn't possible, issue a refund for the $30 subscription payment?
I did not cancel because I no longer wanted to use the service. I cancelled because I wanted to prevent an automatic renewal on my bank card. I would be very grateful if you could review my account and help resolve this.
I can provide screenshots of the payment, subscription status, cancellation, and current credit balance if needed.
Thank you for your help.
