Hi everyone, I’m seeing what looks like a billing/usage attribution issue related to Static IPs.
I disabled Static IPs on November 27, 2025, and at the time I received confirmation from Vercel support that the Static IPs product was removed from my account and would not appear on future invoices. Despite that, in my current billing cycle I’m seeing usage labeled “Private Data Transfer (Network: Static IPs)” and it’s now showing as a $44.45 charge on the upcoming invoice. In the Usage tab, when I filter to Static IPs, I can still see this usage accumulating. I also have a screenshot showing Static IPs are disabled since Nov 27.
I’ve double-checked that there are no active Static IPs configured anywhere in my project, and there aren’t any old deployments still using Static IPs. The current billing cycle started after Static IPs were disabled, and after disabling them I previously saw 0 usage for Static IPs, so this feels like something got “stuck” in billing or usage classification.
What I’m trying to achieve is to have this Static IP private transfer usage removed from the current/upcoming invoice, since Static IPs are disabled and were confirmed removed from my account. If the billing cycle closes and this charge is actually billed, I’d also need it refunded.
I opened a Severity 2 support ticket 9 days ago and haven’t received a response yet, so I’m posting here in case anyone has seen this and knows the fix or the right escalation path. Has anyone had Static IP charges continue after disabling, or seen “Private Data Transfer (Network: Static IPs)” appear with no Static IPs configured? If there’s anything specific I should check on my side, or any known issue with how this usage is reported, I’d really appreciate guidance.
If a Vercel team member can help, I’m happy to share the ticket number privately.
Thanks in advance.
