Switching from VS Code layout to simple file explorer view in v0.dev

Dear Vercel / v0.dev Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

Problem

I am currently using v0.dev for my project development, and I am facing an issue with the editor layout. My workspace is displaying a VS Code–like full editor interface (as shown in the attached screenshot). However, I would prefer to use the simpler file explorer layout that was previously available, similar to the basic file structure view.

At the moment, the VS Code–style interface makes it slightly difficult for me to navigate and make quick changes the way I was able to in the simpler file explorer mode.

I have attached screenshots for your reference:

1. Screenshot 1: The current VS Code–style editor layout.

   

2. Screenshot 2: The simpler file explorer layout that I would like to use.

   

Questions

Could you please guide me on:

• How to switch back to the simple file explorer view like the screenshot 2?
• Whether there is a setting or toggle to disable the VS Code–like editor?
• If this layout change is part of a new update, is there an option to revert to the previous interface?

I would really appreciate your help in resolving this.
