v0 billing error Failed to create payment method after updating address

Hi v0 Support Team,

I’m writing because I’m experiencing a billing issue that I need resolved urgently, as I have an active large-scale project on my account.

Problem

I attempted to update my billing address in the account settings, which triggered an unexpected charge and subsequent payment failure. I am now stuck in a loop where I cannot successfully pay, and I’m worried this failed payment state could lead to an account suspension.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Attempted to update billing address in account settings.
  2. An unexpected charge was triggered during or after this process.
  3. Tried to complete the payment again.

Error Message

When attempting to complete the payment, I received the following error:

Error: Failed to create payment method

Request for Support

I have no intention of avoiding payment and am actively trying to resolve this. The issue appears to be on the platform side following the billing address update. Could you please:

  • Confirm the current status of my account and whether a charge was already processed.
  • Resolve the Failed to create payment method error so I can complete payment.
  • Ensure my account is not suspended while this is being investigated.

I’d appreciate a quick response given the urgency. Thank you.

Can you try a different browser and see if that works?

I just tried to update mine and it worked fine.
