v0 credits showing free plan balance despite active Team plan subscription

So I have an interesting conundrum. As of earlier today the account was working fine.

Problem

My v0 account is incorrectly defaulting to the Free plan credit balance despite having an active Team plan subscription.

Current Behavior

  • Upgraded to the Team plan on March 30th.
  • Previously showed $30 credit + $2 daily accrual.
  • Now shows only $5 (Free plan default).
  • Prompted to “upgrade” to purchase more credits, even though the Team plan is active.
  • Billing method has disappeared from the profile.

Technical Issues

I tried running v0 via the MCP server (which worked flawlessly before), but encountered the following error:

Error: tool call failed for v0/createChat Caused by: timed out awaiting tools/call after 120s

Somehow it used $0.84 worth of credits 3x but the total available credits remained at $5 like a fresh Free plan.

Billing Status

  • Billing dashboard confirms the Team plan is the current plan.
  • Only “upgrade up” options are available.
  • Clicking upgrade confirms that Team is the current plan.

Any suggestions how to alleviate this?

this is my case number #1052578. this is a real dealbraker and stopping production. is there a way to fix this account issue trying to tell me it is a free account @anshumanb @pawlean
