Vercel deployment blocked because commit author does not have contributing access on Hobby plan

I recently encountered this problem too and found a solution in another conversation:

Vercel deployment blocked because commit author does not have contributing access

I am receiving the following error during deployment: Error: Deployment Blocked The Deployment was blocked because the commit author does not have contributing access to the project on Vercel. Hobby teams do not support collaboration. Please upgrade to Pro to add team members. [Screenshot 2026-03-17 at 12.50.29] I’m the sole author and sole contributor of the repo. And the Vercel account is tied to the same account.
