Ryu Hi Vsme, I’d treat this as a potentially risky env/branch-mapping issue and disable any automatic migration-on-start behavior until you confirm which database the v0 chat is actually using. A safe way to debug it is to log only the environment and Neon host/branch, not the full connection string or password: ``` console.log({ vercelEnv: process.env.VERCEL_ENV, publicVercelEnv: process.env.NEXT_PUBLIC_VERCEL_ENV, databaseHost: process.env.DATABASE_URL ? new URL(process.env.DATABASE_URL).host : "missing", }) ``` If the v0 chat/preview shows `production` or points at the same Neon host/branch as production, then I would not run migrations from that environment. In Vercel, I’d also check: ``` Project Settings → Environment Variables ``` and confirm whether `DATABASE_URL` / `POSTGRES_URL` have separate values for Production and Preview. Preview env vars are used for non-production branches, and branch-specific Preview values can override the general Preview value. Neon’s Vercel preview integration is supposed to create a `preview/<git-branch>` branch and inject the connection string into that deployment, so if that branch is not being created, I’d check the Neon integration events and branch limit first: https://neon.tech/docs/guides/vercel-previews-integration For now, I’d make the app defensive: ``` if (process.env.VERCEL_ENV === "production") { // never run dev/reset/auto migrations here } ``` and only allow destructive or auto migrations when an explicit non-production flag is set, for example `ALLOW_PREVIEW_MIGRATIONS=true`. Can you share whether the v0 chat is connected to a Git branch that creates a normal Vercel Preview Deployment, or whether it is running only inside the v0 preview/chat environment?

Narvas I shared this with the v0 team as feedback, some things you can try: - Refresh your browser completely (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) and try starting a new chat session - Try duplicating your project to a new chat using the settings menu - Instead of clicking 'Fix with v0', describe the fix you want in a prompt (e.g., 'Update the component to fix X error') - Be specific about what NOT to change when requesting fixes For credit refunds due to this platform issue, contact support at vercel.com/help - mention the infinite autofix loop and reference your community post.

odin Either it fixed itself/latest version cache cleared itself or a dev looked into it this quickly, no idea but its all back to working. If a dev is responsible then thank you very much!

Berg I am also seeing these errors now. Builds are failing and there is no more “fix free” button. I don’t appreciate having to pay to fix this kind of stuff.

whosarmy-2256 Creating rules in md to ignore these errors has provided some temporary relief. The caching issue seems to fix itself after about 5 mins and a hard refresh. But yes, I would estimate I also burned through about 30 credits over the course of a couple days before I found this workaround. I’m not sure what’s happened but V0 used to feel effortless and the “fix free” was a nice touch but something has shifted in the last couple weeks.

whosarmy-2256 Coming back here to comment that these problems just got worse and worse in the past week. I spent a total of \~500 credits on the project and I believe a large chunk of these credits were wasted on issues like the one mentioned in this post. Of course, I’m guessing that the codebase getting larger contributed to the increased credit usage but still, lot of time wasted on the issues regardless. I submitted a couple of support tickets but didn’t hear anything back - overall quite disappointed as for a non-technical user (I’m not a developer) V0 initially felt like gaining super powers. On the plus side, this forced me to go right to the source of the super power and spend the time getting set up on Claude Code - it took a bit of time to figure out how to get set up but once it was done I’ve noticed that the friction is totally gone and it’s back to feeling like a super power again. I’m able to make quicker progress and running into less issues. I’ll be back on V0 again when it’s time to deploy through Vercel and hopefully some of the issues I was facing are resolved by then.

Agentsonarai 3347 This is one of the most common multi-agent failure patterns --- an agent gets stuck "fixing" something it already thinks it fixed, and burns credits on the same loop. Curious: when it hit the 45x cycle, did v0 give you any warning, or did you only notice from the credit drain?

odin Yea it seems there is a sort of minimum credits spent for prompts no matter how difficult they are, and or it is based of how many users at that time use the models? Like if there is a overload of users it maybe takes longer. Best to be very careful and not spam small questions or changes haha 😅

Sean Are you still experiencing this issue? I have not experienced this exact issue, but something somewhat similar (but again not exact). So, if you are still experiencing this issue, can you try one of these things (or all) : - When it “goes blank” try a refresh or hard refresh of the page - restart the VM - Try the same prompt in a new chat but do it without using “Max” mode, try a different mode.
