I am using vercel to host my project which is completely open-sourced, and secure, still my account got banned for abuse
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
Hi @xymlo, welcome to the Vercel Community!
It seems like one of your projects was reported for phishing. You must have gotten an email about it. If you think this is incorrect, you can reply to that email to have this sorted out with the details to back up your claim.
I am using vercel to host spoo.me, which is an URL shortening service and it is completely open-source ( GitHub - spoo-me/url-shortener: spoo.me is a free and easy-to-use URL shortener that lets you create short links for any website. You can choose your own alias, set a password, and limit the number of clicks. )
Being an URL shortener, it is pretty common to unknowingly home some scam URLs, and for those cases, we also have an actively monitored scam report system at Report URL - spoo.me And we do regularly prune any such scam URL reported to us. So IG banning my account despite this reason seems like a mistake.
I understand. As requested, please reply with this information on the email you got from our Security team. They’ll be able to help you.
Thanks for yourr reply, I have sent an email to registration@vercel.com, as mentioned in the dashboard, I hope to get a response as soon as possible. Thank you!
