Error when using v0-1.0-md in cursor: Unauthorized User Openai API key

I successfully started using v0-1.0-md in cursor by adding the key and Base URL in the OpenAI section of the cursor model settings. Eveything worked fine until I resumed my subscription of v0; then suddenly everything stopped working and I get the following error after entering a new message in the AI chat:

"Unauthorized User Openai API key"

When I verify the API key in the settings, the verification is successful and does not find any issues. It also seems to affect other models in cursor. When I have OpenAI key usage activated, the other non OpenAI models (like claude-sonnet-3.7) also start throwing errors (Request failed with status code 500: {"success":false,"error":"Unknown error"}.

Looks like using the OpenAI API key section to use v0-1.0-md is still a bit buggy. But I am very confused that it stopped working the resuming the v0 pro subscription.

I already tried several times creating new API keys, refreshing / restarting cursor etc.

Any ideas / similar problems?

It looks like the error only occurs when you send images to v0-1.0-md via the cursor AI chat. Thus, this seems to the bug to fix here.

I am having this issue and I am not sending any images to v0-1.0-md via the cursor AI chat. My credits are being deducted and the API says:

We encountered an issue when using your API key: Provider was unable to process your request
