I saw video on youtube where he was importing a screen from figma file into v0. When he imported with the link, it was being shown as a proper figma file but when i am trying to import it is being imported as a png image. Any solutions?
Hey, which youtube video? Also it helps if you share Figma imports into v0 only work if you’re using the Figma plugin or if the file is shared properly. If it shows up as a PNG, afaik it usually means v0 isn’t getting the structured data from the Figma file, only the flattened preview image.
I’ve run into this issue before. Usually, it happens if the Figma file permissions aren’t set to “anyone with the link can view” or if the V0 plugin isn’t properly connected to your Figma account. Try checking that the file is shared correctly and reconnecting your Figma integration in V0. If it still only comes through as a PNG, sometimes duplicating the Figma file and re-importing works as a quick fix.
