How to transfer the owner role in a Vercel team plan

Problem

I had set up a Team Plan for a work project and would like to transfer my role (Owner) to another member of my team as I am leaving the business in the next few weeks, but the option is greyed out.

Question

Is the only option to upgrade to Pro (just to change an admin role within the same team)? It seems extremely inflexible if so - adds considerable cost immediately for a tiny feature (100 USD per user).

We can transfer it internally for you but you’re correct there’s no way in userland to do an instant handover without some period where there are two owners
