October was a packed month for v0.
We launched v0 for iOS, made large chats 12x faster, and shipped new tools and community programs.
Here’s a recap:
We launched the v0 iOS app (#1 on Product Hunt!)
We made “Fix with v0” free when v0 makes an error
We had day 1 support for the new shadcn components
We updated v0 to now use Next.js 16 for all new chats
We redesigned the chat sidebar. You can now manage your Integrations, Rules, Environment Variables, and Design Systems all from your v0 sidebar
We shipped custom instructions. Use preset instructions like “Be Concise” and “Plan Mode”, or create your own
We enabled image editing in v0 with Nano Banana. Turn on design mode, select an image, and prompt your changes
We updated the v0 editor to allow users to preview markdown and SVGs
We improved large chat load times in v0 by over 12x
We enabled work details to appear after each generation. v0 now shows you: time worked, files modified, lines of code changed, and credits used
We launched a new Integration Wizard for connecting integrations and running scripts
We added environment-specific env vars. Set them for production, preview, development, or all
We shipped our referrals program. Invite a new user to subscribe, and you each get $20 in v0 credits
We launched v0 IRLs. Host your own v0 meetup or event and receive a toolkit including credits, swag, and more
We activated v0 for Students for our first 5 schools : Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and UC Berkeley
We launched a new plan: Business . $100/user/month, sits between Team and Enterprise. Training opt-out by default, shared credit purchasing, centralized billing, and team collaboration

Hi, amazing work there.
I’d like to see: Create new chats using the GitHub codebase (if possible, by selecting a branch) so we no longer need to duplicate an existing chat.
