Honestly, this shift to tokens feels like it punishes the people actually building. Before, I could test, tweak, and iterate freely, now I have to babysit a token meter like I’m mining crypto.
What really kills it though is that half the time, the AI writes something totally random or wrong. So now I’m burning through tokens just fixing its own mistakes and when it messes up multiple times in a row (which happens), my credits evaporate for nothing.
It’s frustrating because I’m not asking for crazy handouts. I just want the ability to explore and build without fearing I’m getting taxed for every prompt retry or slight adjustment.
This system turns experimentation into a luxury, and that’s a problem. We need a pricing model that respects the creative process, not one that punishes normal use.
I love v0, but this token system ain’t it. Hope the team rethinks or at least gives more breathing room.
