v0 agent errors causing repeated task failures and credit loss

Hello Vercel Team,

I am facing a repeated error while using v0 Agent (Max / Pro):

Something went wrong. Please edit, retry or delete your message

Problem

This issue has occurred more than 7 times, and because of this error:

  • Any task I give to v0 agent, Max, or Pro stops midway
  • The agent completes only half of the work and then throws this error

Impact

  • Due to this, I am forced to retry the same task again, which consumes credits repeatedly
  • Because of this issue, more than 10 credits have already been wasted

What I’ve Tried

  • Creating new chats
  • Working in new branches
  • Restarting the flow multiple times

Unfortunately, the issue is still not resolved.

This error is causing significant credit loss and is blocking my development workflow. I would really appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and also advise if credit compensation is possible for the wasted credits caused by this recurring error.

Hi, thanks for the response.

The main error I’m encountering is:
“Something went wrong. Please edit, retry or delete your message.”

This usually happens mid-task, where the v0 agent completes only part of the work and then stops. It occurs frequently with v0 Max / Pro, and I’ve experienced it more than 7 times, resulting in over 10 credits wasted because I have to rerun the same tasks.

My setup:

  • OS: Windows 11

  • Browser: Chrome (latest version)

  • Plan: v0 Max

  • Platform: v0.app web

  • Framework: Next.js

I’ve already tried:

  • New chats

  • New branches

  • Multiple retries

The issue still persists.
I’ve attached a screenshot of the error and can share console logs if needed.

Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks for your help.

I’d also like to mention that I have reported this issue previously, but it still hasn’t been fixed. It seems like this could be a bug or system level issue in v0, as it keeps happening even after trying new chats and branches.
Please look into this and help get it resolved.

Can you share a link to one of your chats where you’re seeing this so I can help get this investigated?
