V0: fixes the same error at least 60 times Me:running out of credits!

I’m having a similar problem. v0 created an error loop and I’ve spent $10-12 going in circles trying to fix the same problem on repeat.

Yes at least don’t charge us to fix your revolutionary AI’s mistakes ::>_<::

Hi @developerstephen-730, sorry that you are facing this issue. Can you share your chat ID so our team can better help you?

About the feedback regarding charging for fixes, our team is working to improve this experience, and we’ll share as soon as we have any update regarding this.

Yes

I found out that unless v0 actually messed up and charged you wrong, you’re not getting your money back. Sometimes you gotta roll back versions or fork the project to get things working again. Sure, v0 will write code and fix stuff but you can’t just sit there you need to help it figure out what’s broken and why it’s happening. For all we know, it could be some database problem that v0 has zero control over Instead of just expecting it to magically work try actually learning what’s going wrong and do some digging into the problem. Just hammering that v0 button over and over isn’t gonna do anything what actually matters is giving it the right context and information to work with. Hope this helps and is a way for more than just you to learn by!

I had the same issue with this platform and ran out of credits in just a few hours. What’s most shocking is that there are still people defending this abusive billing system and even saying we should help v0 understand what we want. Seriously?! We’re nothing but test subjects for this company — and we’re actually paying for it! Ridiculou

And while the team decides whether to charge us — mere test users — even more money to help their AI figure out what we want, we’re the ones left paying more and more to Vercel, or else we just have to accept being screwed by the AI and unable to continue our projects? How amazing solution!

Hi @developerstephen-730, I’ve shared this information with our team and will get back to you when we have an update.

There is always the option to go code it yourself nobody is stopping you, that is free. Vercel is the one company that listens to their community and actually support their community. If your on a tight budget use v0 small, its less than 10 cents a chat and if you cannot afford that learn to code manually or go mow some lawns. Its business not a Mr Beast Giveaway. Sometimes the truth hurts.

Well… if you enjoy getting ripped off and played like a fool, that’s awesome — you’re exactly the kind of customer the company dreams of! Meanwhile, hundreds of users are fed up, but hey, if there weren’t tons of angry threads on this forum, Reddit, and elsewhere, maybe we’d believe everything’s perfect. But lucky us, we’ve got a die-hard Vercel fanboy right here! Can you imagine if people actually had brains and didn’t love being scammed? The company would’ve gone bankrupt ages ago. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@corebytes
I tend to not get into keyboard debates, but to your comment, at least for me v0 errors are not deep esoteric Firebase config requests, more like:

prompt: “Remove the ‘X’ (close) button from the top right of the dialog box. Add a ‘Close’ button to the bottom center of the form that closes the dialog.”

result: v0 adds Xs and close buttons to my other 13 dialog boxes and gets stuck in a loop.
And it takes me over an hour to manually fix them all.

Sure I ended up doing this myself, but the concept here is supposed to be fast prototyping… right?
I have encountered this kind of thing at least 10 times on only three relatively easy projects.

More concerning is the lack of support on something a bit more complex, I needed to demo my PoC for a meeting, perhaps that is just “business” as well.

However, we thank you for the coding philosophy lesson, it was next level!

Perhaps you can whip up a routing engine where our code and problem go to you instead of v0!

Thinking you might be an PhD/HR/Coding AI agent!! :robot:
