v0 generation stops and goes blank while still consuming credits

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue with v0 that’s happening consistently and I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced it.

Problem

I start a project, send a prompt, and v0 begins working as expected — I can see progress, responses being generated, and the task flow updating. However, at some point during the process, everything suddenly goes blank. The output disappears, and there’s no visible result from the generation.

Current Behavior

  • Output disappears mid-generation.
  • No visible result or error message.
  • Credits are still consumed despite the failure.

What I’ve Tried

I tried opening a new chat and sending the exact same prompt again, but the same thing happened — it starts normally, then stops abruptly and ends up blank while still using credits.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there any known workaround or fix?

Are you still experiencing this issue?
I have not experienced this exact issue, but something somewhat similar (but again not exact). So, if you are still experiencing this issue, can you try one of these things (or all) :

  • When it “goes blank” try a refresh or hard refresh of the page
  • restart the VM
  • Try the same prompt in a new chat but do it without using “Max” mode, try a different mode.
