Hey everyone, I’m having a bunch of issues with v0 after a GitHub sync went wrong, and I’m stuck.
Issues
Git syncing is broken:v0 gets stuck on “Syncing files…” and never finishes.
Missing commit error: I get the following error even after doing a full fetch:
Error: SHA … not found in repository
Broken branch/ref:GitHub shows 404 / “Cannot find a valid ref in v0/…” when I click links from v0/Vercel.
Branch confusion: I can’t switch v0 to the branch I want, and the branch I thought was correct doesn’t even show in GitHub anymore (only a couple v0/… branches + main).
v0 UI is bugging: I can’t see my old chat history, and the credits section disappeared.
Billing is broken: The billing page shows an error even though I have an active subscription:
Error: Subscription not found (no_subscription)
I also can’t see my credits/usage anymore.
If anyone knows how to recover from this (restore a working Git connection, fix the missing SHA/ref, or reset v0 to a stable repo state), I’d really appreciate it.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this — sounds like a proper mess with the GitHub sync breaking everything else along with it
You’ve given brilliant detail on all the issues you’re seeing, which really helps! To get this investigated properly, could you share your v0 chat link? It will look something like https://v0.dev/chat/...
Also, just to double-check — when you mention the billing shows “no_subscription”, are you able to see your subscription as active when you check your account settings or payment method?
The team will need that chat link to dig into the sync issues and get this sorted for you
About the “no_subscription” issue: I currently can’t verify anything in billing because v0 won’t load my plan properly. The billing page shows “Subscription not found (no_subscription)”, and the credits section is also missing, so it looks like the account has no active subscription even though I do have one and I haven’t canceled it.
On top of that, I can’t really use v0 properly right now, chat/history/features are bugging out and I can’t use it to work or even chat normally.
Chat link: I can share it, but I’d rather not post it publicly. Is it okay if I DM it to you, or can you point me to a safe way to share it with the team (support ticket, private message, etc.)? Under Ticket/Case #963763, I’ve already posted all the details of what’s going on.
Hey @pawlean quick follow up, the first reply came instantly and felt automated, but I haven’t heard anything since.
I’m still blocked and haven’t received a real response after my last message. Can someone confirm whether this is being actively investigated and if there’s any timeframe? If there’s no ETA, I need to move to another service to hit my deadline.
