v0 Premium plan daily message limit and billing credit expiration inconsistencies

Hi, I am on the v0 Premium plan, but I am seeing confusing behavior regarding message limits and billing data.

Problem

  1. Daily Message Limit: After about 7 messages in a day, v0 stops me and tells me to upgrade my plan. Is there still a daily message limit on the Premium plan?
  2. Billing Inconsistencies: My billing page data does not seem to align.

Current Behavior

  • In “Credit Expiration Schedule”, my monthly credits expire on May 11, 2026, but my plan says it renews on Apr 7, 2026. I expected those dates to line up.
  • In “Used and Expired Credits Over Past 3 Months”, I see items with future expiration dates. That seems odd to me.

Could someone confirm whether this is expected, or whether there may be an issue with my account?

Hey, @changhwan! Welcome to the Vercel Community :waving_hand:

The 7-message limit you’re hitting is actually the free plan limit being incorrectly applied to your Premium account sounds like a bug. Could you:

  • Log out completely from v0 and log back in
  • Clear your browser cache/cookies for v0.dev
  • Make sure youre in the correct account scope (check the top-left selector)

The date mismatches you’re seeing are actually expected:

  • Monthly credits expire 30 days after they’re granted, not on your billing renewal date
  • v0 automatically uses credits closest to expiring first

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks @pawlean !

It appears to work as expected now.

However, I still feel uneasy using v0 because I used my paid account throughout the entire process.

Also if you could provide the sources of each credit in the dashboard, it would be more understandable for users. A simple “Type” is not enough for me.

I’m glad it works now!

I understand, I’m sorry about the experience. Can you raise a refund request in Help?

What do you mean?
