v0 subscription refund request for unintended recurring charges

Problem

I’m writing to request a refund for my v0 subscription charges that were billed to my credit card over the past months.

Context

I initially subscribed to v0 in April 2025, under the genuine assumption that it was a one-time payment. Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was set up as a recurring subscription with automatic debits from my credit card. I only noticed this today (February 8, 2026), and until now, the charges continued unknowingly.

This was an honest oversight on my part, and I fully acknowledge that I should have reviewed my billing details more carefully earlier. However, for additional context and transparency, you may verify my account activity and logs — I have not logged into my v0 account since April 2025, and there has been no usage on the account during this period.

I’m an independent developer from a remote town in India, currently struggling financially while trying to learn and experiment with AI tools. These recurring charges have been a significant burden for me.

Given the above circumstances, I sincerely request you to please consider refunding the subscription amount charged so far back to my original payment method (credit card). I would be extremely grateful if you could help me out as a goodwill gesture.

If you’ve already opened a case, rest assured our support team will help you as soon as they get to the ticket.

Customers on all plan types are welcome to open a new case for any billing issue. Just describe the problem to the AI chat bot and click the “Create Case” button that appears at the bottom of the chat window. The AI will autofill the form based on the info provided. Then, you can review and adjust any info in the form before submitting it to reach our billing experts.
