Vercel Pro plan upgrade failure and suspended team causing project downtime

Problem

I am unable to upgrade to the Pro plan, and all my projects are currently paused, including my portfolio website. Even after deleting the team, the error persists and the account remains in a suspended state.

As instructed by the Vercel help assistant:

I deleted this team; still the error persists. It’s now in a suspended state, but still, errors persist.

All my projects are now down, including my portfolio website. Come on man.

It looks like your avocodos Pro team had an unpaid overdue invoice in December 2024 and was suspended back then for that, it should unblock automatically once that’s paid. That team has no projects on it right now though

This is separate from your Hobby team, which is paused due to overage, and seems to be the one with all the projects on it. If you upgrade this team it should unpause itself. Is that the part that isn’t working?

It’s possible the system won’t let you upgrade a new team while an unpaid invoice is on another one, so if that doesn’t work you might need to ask at vercel.com/help where the billing team has the power to manage your invoices
