Vercel Sandbox storage usage reporting 97 GB despite no active sandboxes or snapshots

Problem

I am seeing a usage report of 97 GB for Sandbox storage on my dashboard, despite having no active sandboxes or snapshots. I previously created a few snapshots, but their total size was nowhere near 90 GB. Furthermore, I have since deleted all existing snapshots.

Current Behavior

Since discarded sandboxes or snapshots are non-restorable, I am confused as to why I am being metered for this volume. As per my understanding the discarded sandboxesafter their use and snapshots after 7 days are deleted permanently and can’t be restored, so I shouldn’t be charged for them and should only be charged for snapshots that are restorable. Please note that i have waited 48hours but the dashboard is not yet updated.

I’m checking in with the Sandbox team on this, but it looks like a UI bug where you’re getting a sum of daily usage instead of an average of daily usage (over the the month)

I’ll confirm when I know for sure but as of right now I think you can safely ignore this

thanks @jacobparis , can you please confirm if a sandbox is created and discarded after its use, the storage wont be metered right?? I am keeping a few snapshots live and have a function that extends the snapshot life beyond 7 days as well, so can i safely assume i will only be charged for the “live” snapshots, the sandboxes will not metered for storage correct since they are discarded after their use(currently i am setting a sandbox created from this snapshot at hard 5minute limit) but i am scared to use the extend limit
