Why v0 only offers Team plans and how to distinguish from Vercel Pro billing

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share some feedback because I ran into a pretty confusing situation with v0 and Vercel pricing.

Problem

I was trying to subscribe to v0 as a single user, expecting something like a “Pro” individual plan (similar to what existed before). However, the only option available now seems to be the Team plan ($30/month), even if you’re just one person.

On top of that, the flow redirects you into Vercel billing, where it’s very easy to accidentally subscribe to Vercel Pro ($20/month) instead of the v0 plan — which is exactly what happened to me.

Current Issues

  • There’s no clear individual plan for v0 anymore
  • You’re forced into a “team” setup even if you’re solo
  • The distinction between Vercel Pro and v0 plans is not clear at all
  • It’s easy to end up paying for the wrong product

In my case, I ended up subscribing to Vercel Pro by mistake, thinking it was required for v0.

Suggested Improvements

  • Clearly separate v0 plans from Vercel plans in the UI
  • Offer a true individual plan for solo developers
  • Make the billing flow less ambiguous

Is this the intended direction for v0 going forward, or am I missing something?

Thanks!
