Problem
I signed up for a new v0 account using Google authentication, with no intention of selecting any Vercel Team plan or anything else. I went to v0.app, created my account, and started building.
Current Behavior
However, when I ran out of credits and tried to upgrade to the $20/month Premium plan, I was surprised to find that it wasn’t an option:
- The only available options were the v0 Team plan for $30/month and higher tiers.
- I checked my Vercel account, and it shows that I have a Team, even though I never selected this during the sign-up process.
- The $20 Premium plan is listed in the v0 docs, but it’s missing from the actual pricing page.
Questions
- So why am I being forced into the $30 v0 Team plan when I didn’t choose it?
- Why can’t I find the $20 Premium plan in the upgrade flow, even though it’s mentioned in the docs?
- Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a way to manually switch to the Premium plan without having to pay for the v0 Team plan?
