I have noticed this issue time to time, but not a ton. but when it has occurred, I let it sit a bit and then I just refresh the page. Stopping the chat seems to only create more issues. I am sorry to hear this James. I am pretty sure that for this kind of issues you can ask for a refund via the support page to get your lost credits back. But sadly i am not the one that can make that decision. I hope this still helps.
