V0 doesn't work but consume my money

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well! I have a problem with v0. I have been working on a project for several days and for the past hour, when I run a query, it is either off the mark (for example, I ask to edit a section with a specific prompt and it rebuilds everything…) or, even more frustrating, it stops the work and says “stopped” for no reason. Has this ever happened to you?

The problem persists in all my chats, even when creating forks or reimporting the project.
The only thing that works is the debiting of my credits
I like v0, but now I’m sad.

will fine

There are a few things that might be happening:

  1. If v0 is rebuilding everything when you ask for specific edits, it might be misinterpreting your prompts or having trouble with the context of your request
  2. The “stopped” message could indicate that the model is timing out or encountering some other limitation

Some things you can try:

  • Be very specific in your instructions, mentioning exact file paths and sections
  • Try using more targeted prompts like “In file awesome-component.js, modify only the function fancyFunction to…”
  • Break down complex requests into smaller, more manageable steps
  • Make sure your project structure isn’t overly complex, because that can sometimes cause issues

If you’ve already tried creating forks and reimporting without success, it would be helpful to get more details about your specific project setup and the exact prompts you’re using.

You might also want to check the Become a v0 expert guide and v0 documentation for any known limitations or best practices that could help with your specific case.

Please give those ideas a try and let me know how it goes :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for your feedback. Thank you for your advice. Now everything is working perfectly again, I haven’t changed my methods since a while ago. I think something in v0 was broken, but it seems resolved for me! Thank you. A little thought, however, if it turns out that there was indeed something broken in v0, it would be interesting for users to have the information to avoid throwing their computers into the lava lake of hell that they probably have next to their desk. On this sincere note of joke, have a nice day
