V0 is stopping responses in each generation/generating code in chat

I have been consistently experiencing problems with v0 for the last few days in a project. Instead of updating the code, v0 generates a code file within the chat which ultimately does not update the change.

Also sometimes it stops the generation automatically and I have to fork the conversation inorder to get a decent response, else it keeps on hallucinating

I’ve seen this before with my own chats and for now what has worked, as you mentioned, has been forking the chat and starting fresh.

@amyegan why the chat is so slow and stopping response without completing the requested implementations.

@jithinjacob-techiuss I’m not sure exactly what you mean. Chat responses can sometimes slow down if the context gets very large with many versions and files. And responses may fail to come through if an error occurs.

I would be happy to check the logs if you can share a chat ID or link to the chat where you’re experiencing this issue

I always have to force a follow-up after it gets stuck on a message. The chat doesn’t complete properly—I have to manually send a message like “continue” or “?” to get it to respond.

I see a few client side errors from the code in the preview panel. Other than that, I don’t see anything out of the ordinary in the logs.

Reached out to the v0 team for advice and I’ll let you know when I learn more

Thanks for checking. I’m not seeing any errors either, but the main issue is that it takes over 5 minutes to respond to a message. Sometimes it stops in the middle of a response, and I have to manually follow up to get it to continue—then again, it takes another 5 minutes to respond.
