Not trying to ruffle any feathers but with the recent pricing changes and even “testing” and “using” alternative platforms I have noticed that v0 is no longer what I would consider the best choice tool anymore. I can be wrong and open to a discussion as to the differences / strengths of each platform and service.
Now with firebase I have noticed it’s best to create in that ecosystem, but the pricing is so good it hard to pass up. (Granted even with large number of users it is still cheaper)
With v0 and vercel you may get faster database rendering using something like mongodb (not supported via preview with v0) or you can easily setup with supabase, or neon database)
Payments like for stripe, v0 will make you want to rethink everything… have yet to try with firebase studio.
But the pricing now with v0 is so confusing if its token based, share how much money is each token, and how much a typical request would take in tokens also what about a page that is 1000 lines of code?
Are we charged for every single time a new file is completely changed (v0 is bad at spot changes, so late files will have huge expense)
Clarity would be great
