Hi Vercel team,
I'm reaching out because my Hobby team, "Ramiro's projects", has been suspended since October 1, 2026, and I haven't been able to get a meaningful resolution through automated support.
Here's what happened:
- I was previously a paying Pro customer and downgraded to Hobby.
- One of my projects had generated usage exceeding the Hobby Edge Requests limits.
- I used the one-time 3x temporary unblock.
- I permanently migrated the project to my own VPS. It no longer runs on Vercel, and I have no intention of moving it back.
- More than 30 days have passed, but my team remains suspended.
All I want is to continue hosting two tiny personal projects with virtually zero traffic. I'm not asking for increased limits, another temporary unblock, or permission to run high-traffic applications on Hobby.
I contacted Vercel's support chatbot, which repeatedly insisted that once the 3x unblock expires, a Hobby team remains permanently suspended regardless of whether the underlying issue has been resolved.
According to the bot, upgrading to Pro is the only possible solution, and manual reinstatement is technically impossible.
However, I've found previous cases in this very community where Vercel staff manually restored Hobby teams after the excessive usage was resolved:
This raises an important question: if the purpose of the 30-day unblock is to give users time to resolve excessive usage or migrate workloads, why would successfully doing exactly that still result in an indefinite suspension?
I understand the need to enforce fair-use limits. I'm not disputing those limits. I'm questioning why an account should remain suspended after the problem has been permanently eliminated.
Could a Vercel team member please review my account and consider reinstating Hobby deployments?
I'm happy to provide any necessary account details privately.
I enjoyed using Vercel and was previously happy to pay for Pro when my projects required it. I'd simply like to continue using Hobby for the small personal projects that genuinely fit within its limits.
Thanks for your time.
