v0 project transfer to personal account failing with empty workspace dropdown

Problem

I purchased v0 Premium but my subscription is tied to my personal account, while my project v0-miamishuttlevan is under the team scope miamishuttlevan3-9663’s projects. I’m unable to start a chat with my project because the team scope doesn’t have a membership.

Current Behavior

I’m trying to transfer the project to my personal account (which has the Premium subscription) so I can use the chat feature.

  1. Navigate to SettingsWorkspaceTransfer Data.
  2. The transfer dialog states: “Transfer one or all of your chats from miamishuttlevan3-9663’s Account to another account or team”.
  3. The dropdown “Select a team or personal account…” is empty and shows no options.

This is preventing me from transferring the project to my personal account where my Premium subscription is active.

Questions

What’s the best way to approach this?

  • Should I transfer the subscription to the Team? (The team I didn’t even know got created and I don’t need because it’s just me).
  • Or transfer the project to my personal account?

The project right now is deployed and I can’t chat with it anymore (I have been able to for the last few days) on my personal account.

I see you have a v0 Premium subscription and a Vercel Pro team (different than v0 Team plan). Each Vercel account gets a Vercel team created by default, which is where all the Vercel projects (v0 apps in your case) exist.

The transfer option is for transferring chats from a personal v0 account to a v0 team you are part of (or vice versa). You don’t need to do this since your chats should always be in your v0 Premium account.

Can you share the v0 chat ID or URL that you can’t access? Because you should be able to access them when on v0 Premium.
