[Account Recovery] Locked out after enabling 2FA – No response on open cases

Hi Vercel Community,

I’ve been locked out of my Vercel account for the past two weeks and could really use some guidance.

Note: I’m posting from a newly created account because my primary account is completely inaccessible — I couldn’t even sign in to the community to post this. This post is regarding my primary locked account, not this one.

What happened:
I enabled 2FA on my account about two weeks ago. Ever since, I’m unable to log in — every attempt with my passkey returns the same error: “Couldn’t verify your passkey. Try again.” Unfortunately, I also didn’t save my backup/recovery codes, so I have no alternative login method available.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Submitted the official Account Recovery and Appeals form on 25th April 2026
  • Two support cases were opened: #01131516 and #01132866
  • Have not received any follow-up or email response on either case since submission

Why this is urgent:
This account hosts active projects that are important to my work. Two weeks without access or any update has been quite stressful.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation? And is there a Vercel team member here who can help escalate this or point me to the right contact?

The issue was raised on 25th April 2026 and was resolved on 26th May 2026 with the assistance of the support team, taking approximately one month to reach a resolution.
