Locked out of my account-PLEASE HELP

Urgent: Pro account access blocked by 2FA I never set up

Hi Vercel team,

I need help recovering access to my existing Vercel Pro account.

I can sign in through my connected GitHub account, but Vercel then requires an authenticator code or recovery code. I do not have access to either and do not recall setting up this 2FA method.

I submitted an official account-recovery request over a month ago and have not received a resolution. This account contains an active production project, so I need access to manage deployments and environment settings.

Could someone please confirm that my recovery request is in the right queue and help move it forward?

I can privately provide the account email, GitHub username, Pro billing/invoice details, project name, live deployment URL, and any other ownership verification needed. I will not share sensitive information publicly.

Thank you.

Hi there! I’m just a bot here to share some info that might help you before a human arrives.

Please do not publicly post account details, like your email address, that could help an attacker gain access to your account in the future. If you need help accessing your account, please use the account recovery form at vercel.com/accountrecovery to open a support case with the account recovery specialists. They may take some time to complete a thorough ownership verification process to keep your account safe. There’s no need to open an additional case if you already have one open.

If you’ve ever set up a passkey, possibly on another device, you can use that to get back into your account and update 2FA settings yourself. You can also use recovery codes if you’ve stored those in a safe place that you can still access.

Thanks for your patience while the team works to resolve all cases as quickly as possible while keeping everyone’s accounts safe and secure. A human should be here soon to help.

Hi - huge apologies for the delay, and we hear you. We’re working our way through the caseload – we have a small + growing specialist team that can help (account compromises require careful ownership verification) and are building system improvements to make it faster across the board.

If access is still blocked, would you mind sharing the support ticket number you opened and I can escalating to our specialist team today?
