Unable to downgrade website2ai project to Hobby plan

Hi Vercel community,

I have two teams under my account. Team B is already on the Hobby plan, and Team A is on the Pro plan. I’m trying to downgrade Team A to the Hobby plan, but when I try through the dashboard I see an error:

“Unable to complete downgrade. One or more teams failed.”

I’ve followed the guidance to remove Monitoring and Log Drains resources and verified there are no active add‑ons. I also don’t see any outstanding invoices. Despite this, the downgrade still fails.

Has anyone run into this? Is there some other resource or setting I need to disable, or could this error be due to having multiple teams (one already on Hobby)? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, we can definitely improve the error codes here but yes this issue is caused by having multiple hobby teams. This used to be allowed but people were creating extra hobby teams via Pro downgrades to get around the fair use limits per team.

I see you’ve transferred projects away from the Pro team and deleted it – this is what I was going to recommend. Is this resolved for you now?
