v0 "Chat is Private" error preventing access to chat history and credits

Problem

I’m logged into v0 (the top-right clearly shows that I’m signed into my account), and I still have some tokens left in this account. However, the workspace on the right behaves a bit differently from the normal login.

I redeemed a code and added $20 worth of tokens, so there should be a balance remaining. But whenever I work in this space, the chat closes after I’m done, and I have no way to reopen it or continue working. I only see the following alert, and I can’t find any solution:

Chat is Private
Ask the owner to update this chat’s sharing permissions.

Questions

  1. Is there any way for me to actually use this account properly?
  2. Is there any way to transfer the redeemed credit to another account?

Could you try the following?

  • Log out completely from v0
  • Clear all v0 cookies and site data
  • Log back in and check if you’re in the right workspace (top-left corner)
  • Try accessing v0 from an incognito/private browser window

If you have multiple accounts:

  • Make sure you’re logged into the account that owns the chats
  • Check if the chats were created in a team workspace vs personal
  • Try switching between personal/team workspaces using the dropdown

I did everything you told me to do. It still doesn’t work. I would rather transfer my credits to my other account. Please help me
